It is reported that the two companies have long signed a cooperation agreement to develop new processing technologies and biodegradable film products.

Luigi Bandera company introduced the extrusion film production line using three single-screw extruder, the width of the film produced is 600mm, the thickness is between 15-100 microns, the length and diameter ratio of the extruder screw is 1:30, the screw The other parameters are also designed specifically for processing biodegradable polymers.

When heat-sensitive biodegradable plastics are processed, aluminum rollers can also be used to reduce friction.

In addition, Bandera has also launched a similar blow-molding extrusion line for single-layer films, which is mainly for European biodegradable film processing plants based on Novamont's starch-based Mater-Bi NF material. This line can be produced The film width can reach 1400mm, the thickness is 15-30 microns, the production capacity is 250 kg/h.

In 2006, the volume of various types of extrusion equipment of Bandera increased by 18% to approximately 50 million Euros; Novamont's volume reached 41 million Euros, 50% of which were orders from Italy.
