Industrial design is a great undertaking that affects the development of the country, nation, society and enterprise. The history of the 20th century tells us that the developed countries are inevitably developed; if developing countries want to rise, they must also rise in design. Industrial design is the creator of life. Whoever drives it, who will be brought into a rich, well-developed and beautiful future; whoever ignores it, who will be stranded in poverty, ignorance, and ugly past. The history of the packaging industry also tells us that countries with advanced industrial design must have advanced packaging projects and a developed packaging industry. To get rid of the shackles of traditional packaging, achieve modernization of packaging, improve the market competitiveness of products, and accelerate the internationalization and modernization of products, we must first revitalize industrial designs.

1 Definition of Industrial Design
In 980, the International Industrial Design Association defined industrial design as follows: With respect to mass-produced industrial products, materials, structures, forms, colors, surface finishes, and decorations were given in terms of training, technical knowledge, experience, and visual experience. The new quality and qualifications are called industrial designs. When industrial designers pay their own technical knowledge and experience and visual evaluation capabilities for the solution of packaging, promotion, display, market development and other issues, they also belong to the category of industrial design.

2 The principles of industrial design also apply to packaging design

3 The four elements of industrial design also apply to packaging design
