1 Subject content and scope of application

This standard specifies the quality requirements and inspection methods for glazing of paper-based prints.

This standard applies to paper-based printed materials that are glazed with various drying methods.

2 Reference standards

GBl0335 Art paper (coated offset printing paper)

GB 8941.3 Determination of specular gloss of paper and cardboard 75 ° angle determination method

GB 7974 Paper and paper whiteness determination method Diffuse / Vertical method

3 Quality requirements

3.1 Appearance requirements

The surface is clean, flat, smooth, intact, without spots, wrinkles, oil and water.

3.2 According to the different properties of paper and ink, the content of varnish coating film is not less than 3.85g / m2.

The gloss of the surface of 3.3A grade coated paper after glazing should be increased by more than 30% than that without glazing, and the whiteness reduction rate of paper should not be higher than 20%.

3.4 After the glazing of the printed matter, the surface light layer is firmly attached.

3.5 The printed matter should be able to withstand the natural friction between paper and paper after glazing.

3.6 Within the specification line, there should be no unglazed parts, partially glazed prints, and the glazed range should meet the specified requirements.

3.7 There is no sticky phenomenon on the gloss layer and paper on the surface of the printed crystal.

3.8 The gloss layer of the printed matter should be folded without indentation after indentation.

4 Inspection methods

4.1 Appearance

According to standard requirements, visual inspection.

4.2 gloss

At the same position before and after glazing on the printed matter, at an angle of 75 °, test it with the specular gloss of paper and cardboard.

4.3 Whiteness

In the blank area of the printed product without pattern, use the whiteness measurement method of paper and cardboard to diffuse / vertical method, and perform the whiteness comparison test before and after glazing.

4.4 Fold resistance

After glazing, the printed matter is folded in half with a 5kg heavy pressure roller and the crease without breaking.

4.5 Fastness

Use domestic ordinary adhesive tape and printed products to adhere slowly at an angle greater than 170 °.

4.6 Blocking resistance

After the printed matter is glazed, take not less than 1,000 sheets of paper, stack them for 24 hours under the conditions of temperature 30 ℃ and pressure 200kgf / m2, and perform the adhesion resistance test.

Masking Tape
