In order to further improve the ability and level of toxic and harmful air pollution prevention and management, according to the 2020 Annual Training Plan of the Ministry of Environmental Protection (Circular Office Letter [2018] No. 345), hosted by the Department of Atmospheric Environment of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, China Solid Waste Chemicals The 2018 training workshop on pollution prevention and control of toxic and harmful air pollutants hosted by the Management Center was successfully held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province on December 10-12, 2018. More than 120 people from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) participated in the atmosphere. Environmental management staff participated in the training.

The training content was centered on the list of China's "Poisonous and Harmful Air Pollutants (First Batch)" compiled by our center, detailing the list of various environmental media pollutants. Relations, foreign toxic and harmful atmospheric pollutant screening and management experience, and the list of toxic and harmful atmospheric pollutants (first batch) preparation ideas and work progress. In addition, experts from the Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the National Key Laboratory of Environmental Erosion Control, the China Academy of Environmental Sciences, the China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing) and the Shanghai Environmental Monitoring Center introduced the toxic and harmful atmosphere. Research progress on monitoring and management of pollutants, odor emission and control measures in typical industries, toxic and harmful air pollution and health, toxic and harmful atmospheric pollutants in the chemical industry, and intelligent control of industrial park air pollution.

Participants generally agreed that through this training, they have deepened their understanding of risk management of toxic and harmful atmospheric pollutants, and laid a solid foundation for the implementation of specific management requirements after the release of the list of toxic and harmful atmospheric pollutants.
