Discover the exquisite beauty of luxurious design crafted by the renowned Italian designer, Piero Lissoni. Stay tuned and don't miss the opportunity to explore this masterpiece.
Regrettably, even modern bathrooms, whether they're small or luxurious, often lack the right decor. One of Italy's most celebrated designers, Piero Lissoni, has signed the 'Pætchwork/ Collection', an original bathroom collection featuring tiles, bathroom fixtures, luxurious design elements, fittings, and accessories by the esteemed brand, COTTO.
This collection is a testament to the brand's strength, standing out among international companies that provide comprehensive solutions for the bathroom. From tiles to bathroom fixtures and fittings, 'Pætchwork/ Collection' reflects the Group's ambition to further establish itself in Western markets with its unique blend of design and quality, catering to the tastes of a cosmopolitan audience. This is a significant challenge that COTTO has embraced for several years now, forming vital business and technological partnerships globally.
Coverings
In perfect harmony between aesthetics and functionality, the 'Pætchwork/ Collection' embodies Piero Lissoni's minimalist touch, interpreted through a sophisticated style. Departing from traditional ceramic decor, the textures and colors of the tiles—available in porcelain stoneware and ceramic—are distinguished by their quintessentially Italian elegance, a hallmark of Italian designers. The collection offers two finishes: matte and glossy, available in shades of white, beige, dark blue, dark gray, graphite, and eggshell.
The matte versions in porcelain stoneware—offered in graphite and eggshell colors, with sizes 300×300 mm and 600×600 mm—feature a subtle raised frame. Inspired by an original reinterpretation of Asian woodwork, they can be installed both horizontally and vertically, mixing the two formats to create sophisticated, personalized walls.
Moreover, the glossy versions—made from ceramic, available in all color variations, with a size of 400×400 mm—present refined graphic patterns with striped or checkered motifs, reminiscent of lightly sketched designs.
The collection also includes two mixed versions—combining glossy and matte finishes, available in all the collection's colors, each 400×400 mm—where four geometric pattern motifs are combined on a single tile, to be placed freely for seemingly random walls.
Bathroom Collection: Wash Basins, Fixtures, and Accessories
For this project, Piero Lissoni explored the new expressive potential of ceramic with a luxurious design approach, transferring the essence from tiling to the bathroom collection. He developed an articulated offering with individual elements in glossy white ceramic. Lissoni designed four sinks: a suspended version or a console version with front legs, two of which feature a double sink. Among them is an original version combining two basins of different sizes: one large and one mini.
The rectangular shapes are simple yet elegant, with rounded rims. The washbasins are spacious, and their tops are defined by the prominent contours of the raised edges, while two wooden container elements, integrated into the surface, create a captivating movement.
The rounded edges also feature a ceramic shelf and a wall container. The wooden boxes, used vertically, can be combined with the container. The bidet and toilet, both floor-mounted and suspended, are designed with soft and ergonomic shapes. The toilets stand thanks to the soft-close hinge with a quick-release system: pressing the side buttons makes it easy to remove the seat, facilitating cleaning operations. Rimless technology ensures maximum hygiene and top luxury design.
Taps and Fittings
'Pætchwork/ Collection' also features a series of chromed faucets—counter-mounted, wall-mounted, and floor-mounted versions for showers and freestanding bathtubs—which are characterized by the collection's stylistic purity. The square pipes combine with rounded bases for an effect of absolute fluidity, while the lever has a refined core mechanism that enhances the minimalist aesthetic of the entire collection.
