We’ve upgraded our warehouse infrastructure to support continued expansion

That’s why we've made strategic improvements to our warehouse operations to better serve our online customers and meet rising demand.

Health and safety must always be a top priority, especially in busy warehouse settings. Although the HSE reports show a positive trend in reducing workplace fatalities over the past two decades, recent data suggests this progress has slowed. It's therefore even more important to maintain high standards of safety across all areas of operation.

To support our ongoing growth, we recently invested in a new dock leveller at our Coventry warehouse. This decision came as a result of another year of strong performance and the need to streamline processes to accommodate increased supplier deliveries.

The new dock leveller has significantly improved our loading and unloading efficiency. By bridging small height differences between the loading bay and the vehicle, it allows for a smoother, safer, and faster transfer of goods. In fact, it has reduced the time required to unload a hand ball container by over 50%, helping us save valuable hours each day.

In addition to this, we're expanding our site on Torrington Avenue, reinforcing our long-term commitment to the local area. We've acquired nearby commercial properties and are making internal changes to support our rapid growth. This expansion isn't just limited to one location — our UK-wide branches are also looking to grow and evolve.

As part of this growth, we've created 32 new roles across various departments, including warehouse operations, IT, marketing, sales, and customer service. These positions reflect our commitment to building a strong, skilled team that can support our future ambitions.
