On October 28, 2014, the inaugural "Wan Table Cup" golf tournament, initiated by China's largest watch mall—Million Table Net—officially kicked off at the Nansha Golf Club in Guangzhou. This marked a significant milestone as it was the first elite golf event hosted by Million Table Net and also the first time the Chinese watch industry had organized such a high-profile competition. The event was celebrated as a national-level tournament, commemorating the third anniversary of the company's launch.
The tournament featured a combination of online registration via the official website, WeChat, and phone calls. On the day of the event, VIP members, special guests, and representatives from Wan Table’s partners were in attendance. Notably, several European watch brand executives, regional leaders from banks in Europe and Asia-Pacific, sponsors, and key figures from the domestic watch industry were present. Additionally, numerous media outlets covered the event live, highlighting its growing influence.
At 11:00 AM, the check-in process began, followed by a brief warm-up session at 12:00 PM. Players gathered for a group photo before the opening ceremony at 12:30 PM, after which the competition officially commenced. The tournament utilized the innovative neo-Beria scoring system, with a limited number of winners. The entire event lasted four and a half hours, culminating in a prize dinner at 6:00 PM.
Million Table Net has emerged as a leader in China’s watch e-commerce market. The "Wan Table Cup" not only celebrates the company’s third anniversary but also reflects the rapid growth of e-commerce in China over the past three years. Attendees included Mr. Wang Xiaowen, the founder of the company, along with industry veterans and media representatives.
All prizes were announced prior to the event. The top prizes in the South China Division included the total score award, net pole award, longest drive, nearest to the hole, hole-in-one, and BB Award. Looking ahead, Million Table Net plans to host regional preliminary tournaments across South China, East China, North China, and Southwest China from 2014 to 2015.
